The National Center for Racial Equity & Inclusion at Martin University will host its 4th annual community access fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 19 on the university’s campus. Taking place in the Gathertorium, the fair is an opportunity for organizations to connect with the community. It is also a chance for businesses to promote services and support equitable access to vital resources. The community access fair’s focus includes education, employment, financial literacy, housing, legal assistance, health and wellness. The fair will also hone in on second-chance employment for those with less than favorable criminal records. Martin University is located at 2186 North Sherman Drive on the city’s east side.
