NASHVILLE, TN — YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee is thrilled to unveil the 33rd cohort of its Academy for Women of Achievement (AWA), sponsored by Amazon. This prestigious event will honor five outstanding women and one exemplary organization for their significant contributions to the community during a ceremony on Tuesday, October 28, at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel. The event is co-chaired by Deborah Taylor Tate (AWA Class of 2006), Hon. Emily J. Reynolds (AWA Class of 2024), and Adrienne Johnson, a member of the YWCA Board. "The honorees we've selected this year embody YWCA’s core values—strength, leadership, and dedication to community," stated Sharon K. Roberson, YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee President and CEO. These 2025 honorees will join a prestigious roster of 198 women and 35 organizations previously celebrated by AWA. A committee of business and community leaders led the selection process. The event's public reception, hosted by Lelan Statom of NewsChannel 5, promises to be an inspiring evening. For more details, visit www.ywcanashville.com/awa2025.
