There are new worries over the impending professional showdown between former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations has approved the fight, which is scheduled for July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. However, one promoter thinks Iron Mike could be in danger as soon as he enters the ring. There’s no denying that the 27-year-old Paul and the 57-year-old Tyson have the biggest age difference in the history of professional boxing. Since Tyson hasn’t fought since 2005, a lot has changed in the sport, raising the possibility that he doesn’t fully understand what he’s getting into this summer. Ben Shalom, the promoter, believes that if Tyson and Paul fight as scheduled, the fight will “make a mockery of the sport” because Tyson will have turned 58 years old by then.
