Minister Balaam Condemns Bloody Violence Among Artists

He emphasized the need for discipline and decency in the arts industry to safeguard its reputation and promote peaceful coexistence. The minister announced a series of consequences for those found guilty of such misconduct. “Effective immediately, as a promoter and through our agency, we shall not associate with or promote any artist affiliated with gangs or involved in violence against others,” he stated. Hon. Balaam outlined the following penalties: Offenders will be banned from performing at any events organized by his agency for six months. Mandatory behavior change programs will be required before any reconsideration for bookings.
