Musicians Copyright Law Receives Boost After Hon. Nyamutoro’s Move in Parliament

Phiona Nyamutoro on October 4th, 2023. Hon. The committee’s thorough examination has led to a decisive recommendation: a holistic approach must be adopted to tackle the challenges confronting Uganda’s music industry in the digital age. By doing so, the nation can leverage the abundant opportunities within the industry, thereby improving the livelihoods of individuals across the music industry’s value chain and broadening the government’s revenue base.
