Amid this turmoil, we must guide our children toward safety during such chaos. Parents should encourage their children to adhere to certain measures for their protection: A. Insist they remain indoors before nightfall. B. Urge them to treat everyone, particularly law enforcement and all authority figures, with respect, as many share our concerns. C. Instruct them to: - Avoid gatherings on streets, even in their own neighborhoods. - Go directly home or to approved locations like libraries or clubs. - Stay calm in confrontations. - Keep a safe distance from violence and report it to trusted adults. - Observe traffic rules strictly when biking or walking.
