NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE — The Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (NAHCC) is proud to announce the recipients of its 2024 Business & Community Excellence Awards. This year’s event, marking two decades of celebrating impactful leadership, took place at the Ayers Conference Center at Belmont University on October 16. The evening was preceded by a guest reception featuring Spanish and South American wines and Spanish and Latin American-inspired foods, setting the stage for a night of celebration and recognition.
The program opened with a powerful rendition of The National Anthem by Briana Gatica, followed by welcome remarks from Joyce Searcy, Director of Community Relations at Belmont University and NAHCC board member.Yuri Cunza, President and CEO of the NAHCC, delivered a call to action to VOTE, followed by remarks reflecting on Latino identity, inspired by the theme “¿Quién Soy?” featured in a Telemundo video spot played at the event. He also acknowledged each member of the board of directors from both the NAHCC and the NAHCC Foundation. Loraine Segovia Paz, Executive Director of the NAHCC Foundation, also welcomed guests.
