The top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs made the 71 mile trip from the University of Georgia to the world-famous Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The ‘mean machine in the red and black’ crushed the Clemson Tigers 34-3. The major takeaway from this game is the fact Georgia has thirty-eight new players on their roster. Head coach Kirby Smart credited the nucleus for getting the freshmen and transfers acclimated to the program.“When you turn over that much, you’d better have a nucleus around them that can keep them grounded,” said Smart. “That is what we’ve been able to sustain at Georgia is, we’re not going to change what we do based on who we play.
