Police Probe Babonneau, Vieux Fort Homicides

Saint Lucia police are investigating two homicides that occurred at Babonneau and Vieux Fort. In Babonneau, at about 10:20 pm on Sunday, a resident reported the discovery of a body at Paix Bouche with severe lacerations to the face and body. The deceased has so far been identified only as ‘Français’. Initial reports suggested he might be a French national. Police are also investigating a fatal shooting on Monday near the post office in Vieux Fort. There has yet to be an official identification of the deceased.
