Rust College A’Cappella Choir Shines Bright with Prestigious International Competition Award

The A’Cappella Choir from the prestigious Rust College, a historically Black institution in Mississippi, has proudly secured the Silver Performance Award—its highest accolade—during the Annual Verona International Choral Festival in Italy. This esteemed event, organized by the Association of Choirs in Northern Italy, celebrated global talent. Founded in the 1930s, Rust College's choir is celebrated for its eclectic repertoire, encompassing major compositions, anthems, and spirituals. Their recent award-winning presentation featured a captivating mix of polyphonic and classical pieces, alongside spiritual selections.
