(OBSERVER Staff Report) Amidst a climate where women's achievements are often overlooked, the event "Something for My Sistahs" took place on March 30 to honor Women's History Month. Organized by local writers Sandy Holman and Genoa Barrow, this retreat celebrated dedicated women serving the community. Participants enjoyed pampering, with performances by gospel artist Simona Whiteside. Each honoree, awarded Kifalme certificates, was recognized for their invaluable contributions to various fields.
