(Cushing ISD) – School Bus Safety Week is the third full week of October. However, it is always a good time to share the importance of keeping students safe as they travel to and from school on buses.Despite the extensive safety measures in place, school bus-related accidents continue to occur at an alarming rate, many of which are preventable with more vigilance and respect for the rules designed to protect our children.Related Stories One of the most significant concerns highlighted during School Bus Safety Week is the illegal passing of stopped school buses.
