The 36-year-old was charged with grievous bodily harm after being detained at a hotel in Manchester. According to The Sun, producer Abe Diaw reported being hospitalized due to an unprovoked attack by Brown at Tape nightclub in February 2023 while the singer was on tour in the U.K. The tabloid, having learned of Brown's presence in the U.K., contacted authorities, leading to his arrest by the Metropolitan Police. Brown’s representative has yet to respond to inquiries from The Associated Press. He remains in custody and is set for a court hearing on Friday. Known for hits like "Run It" and "Without You," Brown begins an international tour next month, featuring artists like Jhene Aiko and Summer Walker.
