The Showtime Los Angeles Lakers, so named for an electric era of basketball, had some incredible talents on their team in the 1980s. Magic Johnson was great as a point guard and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was incredible as astarting center alongside him. But one other player that was great on this team was JamesWorthy. The talented forward was always filling the lane, catching Magic’s passes and finishing with an acrobatic one-handed layup or a dunk. He would post his first triple-double of his career with 36 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists as the Lakers would defeat the Pistons 108-105.
