In Kentucky, Stephanie Carlquist has found herself in hot water after allegedly wreaking havoc on her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle, using an unusual combination of salt and glitter. Indeed, salt and glitter! Such a unique approach to a breakup certainly piques interest, though it surely crosses the line. According to a complaint filed by the Richmond Police Department, Carlquist is accused of significant damage to the car following an argument in July.
The charges reveal she poured salt into the engine, sprinkled glitter in the air conditioning vent, slashed a tire, cracked the windshield, and shattered the radio screen. After the vehicle was towed to a Goodyear where it was deemed totaled, with damages totaling $12,464.96, Carlquist reportedly admitted her actions to the tow truck driver. She then expressed remorse to her ex via Instagram, attributing her behavior to stress over her pregnancy. Currently, Carlquist is held in Madison County Detention Center on a $12,000 bond, facing felony criminal mischief charges. Lesson learned: leaving an ex's vehicle unharmed is wise.
