Tuesday marked the commencement of a strings workshop organized by the Venezuelan Embassy in collaboration with the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA). Over two weeks, 60 students will receive training in violin, viola, and cello, guided by instructors from both nations. Ambassador Leiff Escalona emphasized the initiative’s goal of nurturing local talent and fostering cultural exchange. This marks the third such workshop, aiming to ultimately establish a complete orchestra in Saint Lucia. The program concludes with a graduation performance on April 24 at the National Cultural Centre.
