Indy’s Global Village has announced their 17th annual Taste the Difference Festival from 12-4 p.m. on August 10 at the Global Village Welcome Center.& The food tasting will be held from 1-3 p.m., with over 30 authentic restaurants offering dishes that embody their culture. Food from Guinea, India, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Yemen and more will be on display for patrons to enjoy.& In addition to the food, the festival will include an array of vendors and performances to capture the diversity of Indianapolis. A fundraiser for the International Marketplace Coalition, all ticket sales will go towards their mission of revitalizing Lafayette Square and the surrounding community.& The Global Village Welcome Center is at 4233 Lafayette Road, and tickets can be purchased online at eventbrite.com/e/taste-the-difference-festival-2024-international-food-festival-fundraiser-tickets. Tickets are $25 for adults ages 14-65, $15 for seniors over 65, $15 for children ages 6-13 and free for children under 6.
