Teenager Reported Missing

The family of a missing Sarrot, Castries, teenager has appealed for information concerning her whereabouts. Thirteen-year-old Lilyana Joseph, a student at Grand Reviere Sec School, has been missing since Wednesday afternoon and the police have been informed. A family member told St. Lucia Times that the youngster had changed her clothing upon returning home from school and indicated she was going to a shop in her community. According to reports, Lilyana left with her younger sister, returned home and departed again. She was last seen in Sarrot around 7:30 p.m., and calls to her mobile telephone went unanswered. “Her phone is off,” a family member explained, adding that numerous attempts have been made to contact the missing teenager.
