‘Thin Mint Thursday’: Donate blood for Girl Scout Cookies

Those who donate blood on Thursdays are eligible for free Girl Scout Cookies.& Versiti Blood Center of Indiana and the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana are teaming up for a unique partnership: Thin Mints® Cookies in exchange for a blood donation. The event, unofficially titled “Thin Mint Thursday,” takes place at participating donor sites across the state on Feb. 29 and March 7. Participating blood donors will receive a package of Thin Mint cookies as a thank you. Girl Scout cookies and community service are integral to our identity, and we are happy to support Versiti’s life-saving mission.” Participating donation sites for “Thin Mint Thursday” include the Indianapolis, Fishers, Carmel, Greenwood, Highland, Terre Haute and Lafayette locations.
