Natalie Sowell has been appointed chair of theatre and performance at Spelman College. Previously, she directed the School of Theatre at UNC Greensboro. Cheryl D. Jenkins is now an associate professor at Talladega College, while Isaiah Wooden has earned tenure at Swarthmore College, focusing on Black expressive culture.
