Tracee Ellis Ross has sadly become the latest celebrity victim of a home burglary following a string of similar incidents this summer. As reported by NBC Los Angeles, Ross' residence in Los Angeles was invaded on August 31, with thieves making off with over $100,000 worth of valuable handbags and jewelry. The break-in was discovered at approximately 12:30 a.m. by her staff. Police revealed that three suspects gained entry by shattering a rear glass door, and notably, Ross was not present during the violation of her home. While authorities have gathered security footage, no arrests have yet been made, and the investigation is ongoing. Ross joins a growing list of high-profile victims; earlier this summer, pro wrestlers Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch were also targeted. Other notable figures, including Brad Pitt, Nicole Kidman, and Tom Hanks, have experienced similar security breaches this year. Ross has not yet released a public statement regarding her ordeal.
