Then, imagine that he falsified business records to conceal the scandal. Almost everybody in America, Democrat and Republican, Black and white, would be upset with Obama. But that’s not the case with Donald Trump, the man who famously claimed he could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and wouldn’t lose any voters. As Trump’s criminal trial begins in Manhattan, Republicans are proving once again that their alleged values are really double standards.
