TSU names finalists university president

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee State University has named three finalists for the to become the university’s next president. The three candidates will visit the campus Wednesday through Friday to do interviews and open forums with faculty and staff, students and the public. The finalists are& Dr. Charles Gibbs, Chief Executive Officer, National One Hundred Black Men of America, Inc.;& Dr. William E. Hudson, Vice President for Student Affairs, Florida A&M University; and& Dr. Michael Torrence, President, Motlow State Community College. Current TSU President Dr. Glenda Glover announced she would retire at the end of the current academic year.
