Uganda’s Nicholas Katushabe scoops Founder of the Year award in Nairobi

Last week, Friday 26th, in Nairobi, Kenya, Ugandan business and investment consultant, serial entrepreneur and Author – Nicholas Katushabe, commonly known as M’ster Quest, also proprietor of NBK Premier Solutions, a Ugandan-based consultancy firm, scooped the Founder of the Year – Eastern Africa (Over 30) award, at the prestigious FOYA awards.
The FOYA awards, which took place at Simba Corp Aspire Centre, in Westland Nairobi, were founded in 2016, with the sole purpose of recognizing and appreciating young founders contributing to the development of the African continent while creating sustainable jobs through entrepreneurship and inspiring others to start their own businesses.&
Competing against 14 other nominees from across Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania, in the same category, Katushabe saysthat improving the quality of his company’s consultancy workwith emphasis on various Small and Medium Enterprises, played a big role in enabling him to bring the award home.&
“The process, which started in January, this year, has been such a tedious one, with not only having to rely on the 60% votes from the public, but also satisfying the panel of judges, whose vote constitutes 40%,” said Katushabe
