A transformative partnership was announced last Tuesday at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground, poised to enhance athletics in Saint Lucia. The Bank of Saint Lucia (BOSL) has teamed up with the Saint Lucia Athletics Association (SLAA) to nurture young track and field talent through the National Age Group Championship (NAGC), taking place June 7–8 at Soufrière Stadium. Analicia Edmunds from BOSL emphasized their dedication to youth empowerment. This championship offers pathways for athletes aged 7–15 and promotes holistic growth through initiatives like Kids' Athletics Day, reflecting the belief in sports as a framework for national advancement.
