A female pedestrian sustained injuries when a vehicle hit her Friday on Clarke Street, Vieux Fort. After the incident, the 21-year-old victim complained of pain in her lower extremities. However, the injuries were deemed to be non-life-threatening. The Vieux Fort Fire Station dispatched an ambulance after learning of the incident at about 1:07 pm, conveying the patient to St. Jude Hospital.
