Virginia State University Receives Approval to Launch MBA Program

Virginia State University has been approved to offer a new master of business administration degree program starting in the fall 2024 semester. Once the program is launched, the university will be first public historically Black college or university in the state of Virginia to offer an MBA program. The new master’s degree program will be available for traditional in-person and online learning. Students who enroll in the program will receive comprehensive training and experience in numerous business disciplines including accounting, finance, computer information systems, data analytics, strategic management, and marketing. It will be the university’s thirteenth master’s degree program and the first offered through its Reginald F. Lewis College of Business. “The approval of the new MBA program is a milestone achievement and aligns with our mission to prepare students for success in all areas of business,” said Emmanuel Omojokun, dean of the Reginald F.
