Be sure to submit your events two weeks in advance to have the chance to be featured on the list.Moms In Balance: Navigating Postpartum Wellness with baby – Noon-1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, at Mind Garden – A Gathering Place, 929 Sutter St., Folsom. Join a six-week, psychologist-led series for moms and babies ages 6 weeks to 6 months. They aim to foster community and connection through weekly topical discussions and developmental play. Topics will include navigating maternal identity, self-care with an infant, evolving relationships, mom guilt and more. They hope to provide a weekly touchstone for support as you build your village and navigate the postpartum journey. Attendees must register.
Black Student Mixer – Noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Sierra College, Rocklin. Join Black students, staff and faculty to kick off Black History Month and kick off the spring semester with the community. Free and open to Sierra College students.
