DTE Energy is on the hunt for three small enterprises capable of utilizing $5,000 for energy efficiency enhancements. The annual Energy Efficiency Makeover Contest commences on August 20 and concludes at midnight on October 8, 2025. Over the past decade, DTE has extended its support to businesses of varying sizes and sectors statewide, including family-run dairies, cosmetic firms, confectioners, fitness centers, and various nonprofits.Five finalists will receive complimentary energy assessments, while three grand-prize victors will each obtain a $5,000 grant, advice on energy-saving upgrades, and the chance to be featured in DTE’s EnergySmarts for Michigan Business magazine.
