Senate Bill 257 ensures consistent core funding for Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), targeting enrollment and infrastructure enhancement.WSSU will participate in the esteemed Cheatham-White Scholarship Program, providing 50 full-ride scholarships. Further funding will facilitate campus upgrades and athletic support, while UNCSA’s funding remains stable, with plans for a new residence hall to attract emerging talent.
