On April 19, 2025, the San Francisco Business and Professional Women’s Club hosted its 44th Annual Sojourner Truth Awards and Scholarship Luncheon, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of 130 at the Southeast Community Center. This prestigious event celebrated the extraordinary accomplishments of leading women in various sectors while fostering the aspirations of future generations. Honorees included Carol Tatum, recipient of the esteemed Sojourner Truth Award; Brittney Doyle, honored as Business Woman of the Year; and LaShon Walker, recognized as Professional Woman of the Year. Scholarships were awarded to promising high school graduates Jayana Harbor, London Robinson, and Zari Moore, further supporting their academic journeys.
Cheryl Smith, the club’s president, welcomed guests with an inspiring message.
