Beverly Leone Park-Watkins, 83, of Indianapolis, Indiana died At Community Hospital East surrounded by family on Sunday Morning, February 25th 2024.Beverly was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 27th 1940 to Clarence L. and Margarite Taylor Park, and was the baby of the family. Affectionately referred to as “Tiny”, Beverly attended Crispus Attucks High School graduating in 1959.In 2000 she received a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies and graduated Summa Cum Laude at the age of 59.In 2002 at the age of 61 She received her 1st Master’s Degree in Urban Ministry Studies and her 2nd Masters in Community Psychology came in 2008 at the age of 67.In addition to working for the Indianapolis Recorder Newspaper, her book writing and Facebook postings titled My Moments with the Master, she worked as a contractor (GED teacher & Job skills trainer) for Indiana Athletic Team Basketball Association (IATBA) and for WKW & Associates, LLC and The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, through The Senior Community Service Employment Program, for several years.As a teenager, she was baptized at First Baptist Church.
