Over the past five years, female golfers have steadily increased, with data from the National Golf Foundation revealing that individuals of color comprise 25% of “green grass” golfers, totaling approximately 6.9 million from African American, Asian, and Hispanic backgrounds.In an exciting showcase of women's sports, the PGA of America is set to host the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship from June 19 to June 22 at PGA Frisco's Fields Ranch East, marking the tournament's inaugural appearance in Texas.PGA President Don Rea Jr. emphasized the welcoming atmosphere for aspiring PGA professionals. The tournament will feature champions like Amy Yang, last year's winner, alongside notable players such as Mariah Stackhouse, who led her team to victory in the 2015 National Championship.
