Brunch Run 2025 at Salem Lake Combines Family 5K and Pancakes for a Cause

On Saturday, May 31, Piedmont Forest School (PFS) will host its second annual Brunch Run fundraiser at Salem Lake Park. PFS, a nonprofit dedicated to providing nature-focused educational experiences for children of various backgrounds, aims to inspire an appreciation for the environment. Since its inception in 2020, PFS has organized playgroups, classes, and summer camps catering to children from infancy to grade eight at Salem Lake. This year, the Brunch Run seeks to raise $10,000 for the Growing Together Fund, enhancing program accessibility. Participants can choose between a 1-Mile Fun Run at 9 a.m. or a 5K at 10 a.m., both accompanied by a pancake breakfast.
