Vivek Ranadivé, the owner of the Sacramento Kings, decided to support former Toronto Raptors player DeMar DeRozan in their continuing rap battle with Drake by wearing a T-shirt.
On Wednesday night, the 67-year-old wore a t-shirt that said, “They Not Like Us,” which is a line from Kendrick Lamar’s song “Not Like Us.” Lamar, DeRozan, and Toronto rapper Drake are involved in an ongoing rap battle, and the shirt is part of that feud.
Ranadivé donned the shirt in response to Drake’s remarks at the Kings game in Toronto last week, where he threatened to tear down a banner of DeRozan if the Raptors ever decided to retire his jersey.

Drake also referred to DeRozan as a “goof” and was seen making fun of him after the game. Well, Drake and DeRozan had been close pals since DeRozan lived in Toronto. In a touching Instagram post following DeRozan’s 2018 trade to San Antonio, Drake referred to him as a “brother.” Since their relationship has soured this year, that post has been removed. In his song “Lemon Pepper Freestyle,” Drake acknowledged DeRozan’s admiration for Toronto.
