The Sacramento OBSERVER is excited to announce two 10-week internships available this summer for students from any accredited higher education institution. The program aims to equip individuals with hands-on training and experience in journalism and multimedia communication, with an emphasis on the Black community within the Sacramento area. Available Positions: - Reporter: General assignment reporters will craft engaging stories for The OBSERVER’s website and weekly publication. - Multimedia Journalist: This role involves researching, writing, and creating digital news tailored for online and social media platforms. Internship Duration: Runs from June 16 to August 22. Stipends: Each intern will receive a $5,000 stipend. Eligibility: Open to undergraduate, graduate students, or recent graduates.
