Tina Knowles, a prominent businesswoman and mother of music icons Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, recently revealed that her Malibu home has been destroyed in the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires. The disaster has ravaged large portions of Southern California, affecting tens of thousands of residents and causing widespread destruction.
The home, which Knowles described as her “sanctuary” and “happy place,” was located along the Malibu coastline. She shared that she had recently spent her 71st birthday there, reflecting on the tranquility and beauty of the ocean view just days before the wildfires struck. Her loss underscores the deeply personal impact these natural disasters have on individuals and families in affected areas.
The wildfires began earlier in the week in Pacific Palisades and have since spread across other areas, including Hollywood Hills, Pasadena, Altadena, and Sylmar. As of now, more than 28,000 acres have been burned, forcing approximately 180,000 residents to evacuate or prepare for possible evacuation. The fires have been fueled by dry conditions and strong winds, making containment efforts exceedingly difficult for firefighters.
Knowles expressed gratitude toward the firefighters who risk their lives to protect residents and properties in such dangerous conditions. She also extended her condolences to the families...
