Seventeenth Annual Hats Galore Fundraiser: Honoring Women’s Alliance Success

The Women’s Alliance Inc. (WA) recently celebrated its 17th annual Hats Galore fundraiser, themed “Roses in Paris,” where Marcy Fitzgerald was awarded the prestigious title of Jewel of the Community. The event attracted a delightful assembly of women adorned in exquisite hats at the Manor House. Marcy, a Certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, not only excels in clinical practice but is also devoted to enhancing the health outcomes of her patient demographic. With a background in fitness, she passionately advocates for lifestyle changes as essential elements of her patients’ care plans. Among the scholarship recipients were Savanna Hayes-Bogle and Phoenix Lewis from Walnut Hills High School, as well as Mikaela Johnson, a graduate student from Xavier University. WA President Julie Graham noted, “Today, we proudly introduced three new scholarship recipients, alongside mentoring and financial support for educational costs.” The evening culminated in a remarkable $20,000 raised for Greater Cincinnati’s youth initiatives.
